For years, I’ve heard women complain about the double standard that men who sleep with a lot of women are considered studs, yet women who sleep with a lot of men are sluts. Let me clear this up once and for all: This is in no way, shape or form a double standard. Allow me to explain…
A double standard is defined as a moral or ethical code unfairly
You can’t even compare the two. It is like saying that someone who flew first class across the Atlantic is worthy of the same kudos as someone who rowed single handed across the Atlantic. Yes, it’s the same result, but it doesn’t mean that the two achievements are equally deserving of admiration.
Women are the gatekeepers. They get to choose who they let in and who they don’t. All men can do is keep pounding away at the gates, hoping at some point they open. Unlike single women, single men are at all times shagging at their maximum capacity. If a bloke sleeps with two women a year that is because he only found two women who agreed to have sex with him out of all the thousands he tried it on with. Women are never shagging at their maximum capacity. They could go home with a different bloke every day of the week if they felt so inclined. Even getting an unattractive woman to sleep with you is not easy. (Not that I’ve ever tried of course.)
A friend pointed out that the difference ultimately comes down to the knife and the honeypot analogy. You can clean the knife…

Beautifully put, elegantly argued, nicely presented. You might want to remove the ‘it’ in your final paragraph.

That was interesting. It’s never easy on our side. We get shot down, ignored… even humiliated, but we must fight on.
Nice!
